Dear Younger Me,
Be confident in your abilities, even when you feel small or uncertain. You are capable of far greater things than you imagine right now. The only real barrier between you and your dreams is your mindset and fear. You should not let them control you. Fear may whisper that you are not ready, not worthy, or not enough, but the truth is you are more than enough.
You will grow, and as you grow, you will discover opportunities that you cannot even imagine today. No matter what happens, never sit back and wait for the “perfect” moment. Grab the opportunities that are right in front of you now, no matter how small they may seem, because they will shape you, build you, and prepare you for even bigger ones in the future.
Do not let society’s voices or narrow definitions limit you. You can take part in things people may say are only “for men,” and you can excel far beyond what even men have achieved. Strength is not determined by gender, but by courage, determination, and resilience, and you have all of that within you. There will be times you doubt yourself.
There will be moments you feel like giving up. But I want you to remember that every challenge will grow you, every failure will teach you, and every step you take forward will count. You are not in competition with anyone. Your only task is to keep becoming the best version of yourself.
So, raise your head, straighten your shoulders, and walk boldly. Speak up, even if your voice shakes. Dream, even when others laugh. Believe in yourself, even when no one else does. One day, you will look back and be proud that you dared to try.
With love,Your Older Self
Lum Precious.
